RECYCLING IN FOREST ROW

There are two recycling sites in Forest Row - the Household Waste Recycling Site in Station Road and a smaller Recycling Site in the Community Centre Car Park.  Below is a list of what you can recycle at each site.  Keep checking the lists below as they are updated when appropriate.

 STATION ROAD SITE

Jack Fuller is the manager of this site
Opening Hours are April to end September: Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm
October to end March: Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm, Sunday 9am to 4pm

Bank Holidays: Open to usual hours

For details of opening hours visit www.veolia.co.uk/hwrs or www.eastsussex.gov.uk/environment/rubbishandrecycling or telephone 08453 550550.

You may have noticed an article recently in the local press advising all Forest Row residents that they need an entry permit to dispose of their waste. This is incorrect - you only need a permit when trying to gain access using a commercial vehicle such as a van, transit or trailer.

CRIMESTOPPERS

The 0800555111 phone number has been helping to find criminals and solve crimes for 20 years. It's a system that works for everyone - except criminals. Nineteen arrests and charges are made every day thanks to information passed to the charity.

Every call is treated with absolute anonymity so that nobody will know the identity of the caller. Rewards are also available and are paid without compromising a caller's anonymity.
