RECYCLING IN FOREST ROWThere are two recycling sites in Forest Row - the Household Waste Recycling Site in Station Road and a smaller Recycling Site in the Community Centre Car Park. Below is a list of what you can recycle at each site. Keep checking the lists below as they are updated when appropriate. You may have noticed an article recently in the local press advising all Forest Row residents that they need an entry permit to dispose of their waste. Further Information
- Only 6 bags of soil or hardcore will be accepted per month, per household.
- There may be a height restriction barrier in place at the entrance to the site which is set at 6'1" (1.85m).
- The site can be very busy at weekends during the summer months. The site tends to be less busy mid-week.
- A site visit to your home may be required if the site staff suspect you are taking commercial waste/recycling to the site. All visits are carried out by East Sussex County Council Staff.

Mobile Phones and Ink Cartridges: There is a collection box for mobile phones and all ink cartridges except Epson inside the Community Centre. This new recycling initiative is being run in conjunction with Hindleap Warren and the money raised will go directly to Activenture, which provides activity holidays at Hindleap for special needs children. CRIMESTOPPERS The 0800555111 phone number has been helping to find criminals and solve crimes for 20 years. It's a system that works for everyone - except criminals. Nineteen arrests and charges are made every day thanks to information passed to the charity.
Every call is treated with absolute anonymity so that nobody will know the identity of the caller. Rewards are also available and are paid without compromising a caller's anonymity.
