The Parish Council runs a Community Cafe in the Community Centre. This is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during term times. Morning Coffee is served between 10.30am - 12.00noon and Lunch 12.00noon - 1.30pm.
The cafe provides home cooked meals at a reasonable cost and is a much-valued facility for the many residents who come along to meet friends and catch up. Our menus are displayed all around the village on notice boards and reflect, what we hope are good wholesome meals that perhaps someone wouldn’t cook for themselves on their own.
We have to thank our wonderful team of volunteers who make it possible to provide this service and in turn enable many of our older residents to enjoy a good meal with friends.
